IF you join ebay Plus you get free delivery from Coles on ebay when you spend just $49 which is a lot less than direct from Coles online.  As I understand it the orders are dispatched from your local Coles online store.

I thought of joining Plus when there was a $50 voucher on offer so started looking at prices etc.  What I did discover was that a lot of the local specials were unavailable, quite often it was impossible to get basic fresh veges like onions and carrots and even bread was a bit hit and miss even if you did not care what brand you got.

I think I will have to stick with the delivery direct from Coles online, not through ebay.

Which store Coles delivers from is determined by whether they have the space for the coming and going of the delivery vans.  I was told this by the drivers.  My local Coles store does not have this space so my deliveries come from a store approx 35 km away (which I know well as it is the store near where I used to work).  Unlike Woolies, my delivery store is actually part of the web address for deliveries so online customers should know where their groceries are coming from.

I too have looked at eBay Plus and I don't buy enough of anything on a regular basis to make it worth while.  I tend to buy in fits and starts which is probably common for collectors which as far as eBay is concerned is what I primarily am.

Coles on eBay is BASIC as best.  There's food I like to buy every fortnight that simply isn't available on Coles eBay.  The only time I might find it useful is if I need the basics but the Coles website was not working.  Even then it is unlikely as I'd probably just order from Woolies. 🙂
