Hey I am just curious to know how many people send items to customers via standard post with no Australia post tracking but only the ecp code? have you had an issues of customers not getting notified by ebay that its ready for collection?

 

As Ebay just told me they require Australia post tracking number to be able to notify customer there order is ready for collection and the ecp code allows to see that the item was processed properly at the collection point.

Click and collect is a nightmare to be avoided if you are a Seller.

How do you avoid it?, I thought the buyer just selected it. I get it occasionally but I don't like it as it's just another area where things can go wrong and the parcel gets stolen or something.

Make sure you don't qualify.

 

There was an opt-out when it was first introduced - I have no idea if it still exists.
