DHL recently doubled their prices (I used to use them to send internationally, but switched back because my contract was up for renewal and their increases were exhorbitant - international 250g parcel via AP going to the US, after all my volume discounts, is ~$16. Via DHL it would be over $26, plus some surcharges, a $30 pick-up fee whether they are collecting 1 or 50 parcels, and minus any insurance cover (AP's price includes up to $100). Maybe for that seller, DHL does not offer any attractive incentives, price or service wise.

 

Just because postage is more than you want to pay, doesn't mean it's not an accurate (or the best) quote.
