Still waiting davewil1964
I,ve reduced my contributions to board discussion dramatically due to the toxic nature of some of the posters here and now my first time back on the boards to contribute to discussion since the changes where sorted out and you accuse me of rorting the tax system !!!
Derogatory and defamatory comments that you need to account for !!!
At least have the courtesy to man up and address the question of why a woman's contribution to a business and family partnership should not be recognised and rewarded equally with the males through equal distribution of the income earned.
Your attitude is clearly mysoganistic and so far you havnt shown the courage to front up and account for your comments.

Please read the original post he responded too. I noted I used a family trust to equalise the total income of our family partnership between myself and my wife. His response was that this was a tax rort.

I also noted in that post that trusts where used to financially recognise the contribution a partner in a business makes ( Male or female ) who may spend more time in the home. On farms this often includes making hot meals and transporting them to workers driving machinery for long shifts and washing clothes covered in oil and grease, answering phone calls and co-ordinating deliveries and dispatches. While it may not be recognised and accepted by people such as Davewil1964, this is a lergitimate and important part of keeping the overall business running.

I read the entire.
Dave made no mention of the makeup of the partnership.
Perhaps instead of regaling all with personal details - just a brief explanation of the workings of any partnership would suffice.
IE - A partnership is more than one idividual working - The partnership lodges a tax return as does each individual - a personal tax return - on which they are taxed.
Simples.

Dave made no mention of the makeup of the partnership....... But the make up of my partnership trust was what he was responding too.
A discretionary family trust allocates income generated by a business to individual partners in the trust which is then added to the individuals tax return and taxed at the normal rates. No concessions given, no reduced tax rates, just taxed on the income earned, same as everyone else. As noted in my case ( the one davewil1964 commented on ) this is equal income distribution of income between wife and husband.
My request was for davewil1964 to come to the boards to defend his position that woman should not be recognised for their contribution to a family business through equal distribution of income. I havnt got time to take on the whole barracking team.
He hasnt shown the courage to front up and explain or apologies for his comment,s I,ve made my point and I,ve got better things to do . ...........bye

I cant debate the issue with davewil1964 if he's too scared to front the boards. Typical of the bullying behaviour that has driven people away from here. ( have you noticed not many left ??? ) Throws the defamatory insult and then sits back and waits for his little pack to try to defend him.
Anyway I really have got better things to do. Its lambing season and the sheep need checking.

cham, you need to stop hijacking this thread.
People here are VERY concerned about the inability to register with eBay as a Trust, you replies are not helping, just filling up space and muddying up the whole thread.
If you want a debate start a thread of your own.
edited to say - I am not a little friend of any one's, simply someone who tries to give advice on the boards where I can, rather than steer them so off track while offering NO advice what so ever
