I'm mostly thinking about initial impressions of value for money I suppose, of course the downside would be being placed even lower in price + postage lowest first searches.

It's a bit more difficult with craft supplies, though volume discounts make that easier now, which I utilise on quite a few listings. I may have mentioned it above, but there are a lot of craft supply stores that have items priced under $1 and only use parcels for shipping (so cost is $8 - $10 per shipment on average) and they do quite well, though they either have significantly more variety than me or they are even more specialised.

I have way more competitors than I ever used to now, too (when I first started "niche-ing" my range, not even sellers in China - where I buy the bulk of my stock  - had much beyond a token range, now the bigger ones seem to get almost everything I do plus more, with the exception of some custom made items I had done, and some branded stock (i.e. stuff they knock off), so it's also a matter of re-finding my groove, so to speak, as my prices can still be very competitive (or even better) in slightly higher quantities than they offer. Maybe I'll just have a few more variation listings for quantity. 🤔
