Seems a little hasty to be leaving negative feedback accusing a seller (with an otherwise perfect feedback record) of supplying counterfeit items, if all you're going off is a difference in print quality and plastic texture.

I don't buy the pre-paid satchels, but do purchase other satchels direct from AP, and I've even noticed differences in quality in different batches from time to time.

Could it be that AP use more than one manufacturer for some of their mailing supplies, or have been forced to given pandemic conditions affecting supply chains, coupled with a huge surge in demand for postal services?

The tracking number labels were the easiest way to detect fake satchels previously as they would be just the normal ones you can get for free from Aus Post, supplied in rolls of 50 and look like this

Which would then be applied to the fake satchel, while an original or legit satchel has a label like this:

Of course one can request removal from a moderator, but I believe it's best to leave this thread here as it contains reassuring information for other sellers, in case they too feel uneasy and uncertain with some AP satchels.

I did that too that straight away wih big apologies, so all done. Actually spent a lot of time to ebay chat to get it done, and they were very helpful. I am feeling so bad about it. 

I'll make it easy for you - 90% of satchels and stamps on ebay are counterfeit or stolen or washed with chemicals to remove inking. All three of these things net 90% profits to the seller. If you want authentic buy from Australia Post only. If you want to save 15% use sendle and compare prices. Satchels are purchased from A>L.I B$A(B$A for 1 cent each. Your money is going to criminals. 

Using one will not prove it's counterfeit or otherwise. Australia post will deliver a package with no stamps on it 99 times out of 100 and people get away with selling fakes 99 times out of 100 and your fake satchels are nearly guaranteed to get delivered. The best answer is avoid the temptation to buy cheap postage because it's the right thing to do. 

You'll know they're counterfeit if you buy them on ebay. If you buy one that is authentic, it's highly likely stolen or you are lucky to find someone who is shutting up shop which is very rare. I think about 50% of parcels in circulation are fakes.
