There is a thread on buying about this that I saw too late, so putting this in selling as that is where I usually only look and presume a lot of sellers only do too. After a getting a voucher from ebay thought I would buy some 3k express post satchels for this tme of year. Arrived quickly BUT they do not have he little sender keeps tabs. Checked community pages and found they are fraud, Told ebay and got it confirmed also with Austpost who are all looking into it. Afterall counterfeit is not something urgent?? They may/may not get picked up in the post. Auspost may charge you postage and extra if these satchels are used as postage has not been paid on them, which Auspost has confirmed to me. All those sellers who bought are best to claim them back from the seller. May be more than 1 seller, mine were 163424396248

They're not bad. I know for a fact they have access to genuine AP products.

BEWARE they are still being sold on ebay. Just had this one returned today.........Hopefully the new design with sticker from AP counter will solve the problem.

it is not worst using express post unless is very nessisary.
the extra costs, and issues will leave you chasing up auspost and buyer complaints about late items.

And exactly what has your comment got to do with the topic of this thread.....namely FAKE Express Post satchels being sold on ebay.

I do not learn!!! Just been caught again by counterfeit satchels. Thought I was playing safe ony getting the new type. WRONG WRONG WRONG !!! They are being copied too now, with a different plastic, slightly rougher that the smooth plastic of Austpost with poor printing and white dots everywhere on the yellow. The plain satchels are also being copied, again a different plastic and white dots on the red. Easy to see the difference if you have real bags.

Hi, actually I had an item arrive with a copy satchel with all the white dots in the red section of a small 500 gm satchel and it did get posted ok, so austpost do not seem to be picking them up. I do not want to try to use them. Think austpost are too busy to maybe notice at the moment.

I doubt AP's scanners are too busy to pick up a bodgy tracking number, so it is likely that they are legitimate. Especially if they go through the system without any issues.
Just pay full price from AP in future and you'll be right.
