As for black dolls, I have a large collection of black dolls. I love them, but sadly so many see them as offensive and racist. I work with black people and they can't understand why they can't buy a black doll for their young daughters. They are forced to buy white dolls, because black ones are racist. That to me is equally as racist. I have given them black dolls for their daughters and the little girls were stoked!
Literally no one thinks black dolls as a concept is racist. People fought to get black dolls made alongside white ones, and while there aren't as many as white ones in countries like ours, there's plenty of non-white dolls out there that don't have any kind of history or connotations some of the older dolls did or do.
