eBay's payment policy is appalling

I've been buying and selling on eBay for 20 years.  I've sold over 80 items - most recently, 2 months ago - and have a 100% rating and loads of glowing comments from happy buyers.  But eBay have now classified me as a 'new/infrequent' seller who is a risk to buyers so are holding my payments for a few weeks.  Phoned to complain and was advised that because I'm not selling weekly, their system is classifying me as high-risk - hence the payment hold.

For f*cks sake - this is ridiculous.  eBay are twisting their system so that they can hold onto your money for an indefinite period.  What's the point of having a perfect score and over 150 transactions throughout a 20 year period if you're going to be treated with such disregard.  Am thoroughly disgusted.
