Hi guys,
Just wondering if anyone knows if there is a safe way of combining postage once a buyer has paid for items separately? In the past there did not seem to be a potential issue combining and sending items together in one parcel and then just refunding the postage amount to the buyer. Recently though eBay sent me a message (general message to all sellers I may add) about the tracking rate for my business and I was really surprised that I was only 85% because ALL my parcels are sent with tracking and always uploaded. The only thing I can think is that when a buyer has bought 2 or 3 items and I have sent together and refunded over payment that it has not accepted the one tracking number for different items. I say this because in the last few months I have received the odd message from eBay saying 'upload tracking for your order' which i assumed was an error.
I am thinking that the above is why i am only at 85% tracked rate. Now a buyer has bought 3 items separately but I am reluctant to combine due to the above. My question is other than changing my 'require immediate payment' is there a safe eBay proof way of combining once a buyer has paid?
