What Countries Should I Avoid Selling to?

Hi guys,

I’d like to sell to as many countries as I can to increase bidding.

Is there a list of countries it’s not recommended to sell to?

Thanks

Officially, no.

I have added countries to my list as I have had problems with postage or unreasonable buyers from those areas in the past.

They are - Sth and Central America, Africa, Italy, Spain, Turkey, India and most in the middle east.

At the moment I would also take war into consideration, as well countries particularly affected by COVID and with a postal service that causes significant delays due to COVID.

I wont send to South America, Africa, Southern Europe, Canada, the Far East, most of the Middle East, Oceania (other than New Zealand).

Not too sure that anyone in Australia who purchases your current item is going to be prepared to wait until September for receipt.  Maybe have a look at that

:sigh:

I’ve got no idea what’s going on.

Couldn’t do that if I tried.

Also, if you only get one bid, that BIN price will disappear and sell for $1

If I reduce the handling time by 5 days then it wipes about a month off that ETA. 10 days wipes 2 months off etc.

But a handling time of 5 days still says ETA 30 May at the earliest.

Rang eBay & they’re forwarding to technicians. Doubt they’ll help in time though.

You should always start an auction price for the minimum you will sell at as eBay Aus doesn't have reserves.

As mentioned if someone bids $1 , the BIN price disappears and you are obligated to sell for that price if no one else bids.

Uzbekistan, Greece, Portugal: They seem to have difficulty receiving packages on time, or never receive them.
