Hi! I have sold on eBay before but I’m starting a new store but it’s under my same old account. Do you have any tips on how I can improve my store and how I can make my first sale as quick as I can. This is my store: https://www.ebay.com.au/usr/ermur_3201

All I can see is tears.......... Lots of tears.............

First off, shut your store. You are wasting money by having it. The chances of you selling much is extremely low. Therefore, you'll be losing money each month. Without a store, if you don't sell anything each month, you don't pay anything. Besides, if you have signed up for managed payments (which you should have before listing, or you'll never get paid), you get 250,000 free listings a month without a store.

Secondly, 2c postage? Really? You're dreaming.

Third, your prices are ridiculous for what you're selling. I know you have to make a profit, but you can't put ridiculous prices on junk. If they don't sell, you make nothing.

Fourth, you have listed in US dollars. WHY? List in AUD.

Fifth, don't sell electrical goods from China. Yes, I know most of the electrical goods we have in our homes are made in China, but they are made to certain specifications. The items you are selling would have been made cheaply, to maximise their profit and more than likely don't comply with Australian standards. As someone else said, if someone's house burns down because of said dodgy item, their insurance is void. They're going to come after you.

Sixth, what concerns me more than anything is, you sold a tik tok page with however many followers? Not to mention other online non existent things. Do you realise that kind of thing isn't allowed on ebay? If ebay get wind of it, they will shut you down permanently. Once that happens, you can never sell again. Think you can create a new account? Nope, it will get shut down too. Anyone else in your household sell? They will also get shut down.

As I said, all I can see is tears...............lots of tears.
