Encouraging others to be careless with the truth isn't very clever. Distortion is one of your strong points that I hope doesn't go un-noticed by potential book buyers.

wow what prompted this, what davewill suggested is actually legit.

But I guess its from someone with private feedback, surely that wont go un-noticed

Nothing wrong with skyrider12-au 's feedback. Many others choose to have FB private. I rememember when his was visible and it was good. From a buyer's point of view, skyrider12-au has made a valid point and it would save a lot of headache if it wa taken on board.

Good point. Actual stages in the chain of events should only be noted.

You have probably already tried this and found no option, but just in case... It is from an eBay help page and it is for the QR scan, but maybe there is an option to enter the pickup code too in the same place if you go to Selling - Sold - Arrange Pickup banner

There were people in the USA who seemed to have your problem too though, and apparently eBay just told them to ask the buyer to confirm that they have received the item in an email.

Proof of pickup

Proof of pickup is required to protect you against item not received cases.

For proof of pickup you can:

  • Use the eBay app to scan the QR code the buyer received through email
  • Use the eBay app to manually enter the 6-digit code the buyer received through email

To scan the QR code:

  1. Go to Selling on the eBay App.
  2. Go to the Sold tab.
  3. Select the Arrange Pickup banner.
  4. Tap the Scan to confirm pickup button.

Good and valid point. From a buyer's perspective I understand how it gets. I have been strung along in the past. I forgot to add that last time. It gets frustrating waiting for an item supposedly disatched, and it can be at worst, a long or eternal wait.

Is that an echo I hear?

I believe it's crickets you hear.

Consider yourself ' disatched '.

Relevant to a pickup, how?
