I get my weekly payments (Tuesday) like clockwork.  Money clears same day, usually by midday.

Public holidays do not impact the payout, but it will impact the whether funds are 'available' or 'processing'

Normally, without a public holiday, funds from sales over the weekend clear on Monday and get paid out Tuesday.  but if Monday is a public holiday the weekend sales won't clear meaning you wait until the following week payout.
