As Australians are likely aware, many forms of GOV ID has or is moving to online. As eBay won’t accept the online government issued ID, are they breaking an Australian consumer law? I’ve looked through what policies I’ve been able to find and am unable to see where it says it must be a physical ID. I used to sell for several years some time ago, and need to verify my ID again, but I do not have a physical license, only online government ID.
