🤣

Hi everyone,

This discussion has gotten a bit heated. Please remember that, while it is fine to disagree with others, discussion should always remain friendly and respectful as required by the Community Guidelines .

Thank you for your cooperation.

I'm a senior citizen. I gave up my driver's license some years ago. I opened my back account 50 off years ago. Didn't need the same ID documents then. Don't have a passport.

The same rules apply to every seller

eBay do not know or care about any seller's age/ability/income status etc and there are no alternatives

Many members here are senior citizens , all of us had to sign up for Managed Payments before we sold/started selling again/if we wanted to continue to sell after Managed Payments came in over four years ago

And as you agreed to when listing

There are no 'buts' when selling, if you are not signed up and verified to sell, you will not be paid

Sad but true Sandy, but I like a few others believe that eBay should not be allowing unverified members to advertise items for sale.

Surely it can't be that hard to put some sort of block in place for them...............

Totally agree with that too

I suppose eBay may take the 'stand' that listings state seller takes all responsibility , yadda yadda, yadda

And I am sure if it were done, we would have just as many people come and complain that eBay are 'blocking them from selling' as we do people not reading what they ticked they had read (and understood)

…but then they wouldn’t make interest on ‘stuck funds’ 😔
