Ebay case resolution sucks.

I sold an item and due to a sudden illness it couldn't post it on time. The buyer opened a case and I responded straight away that it was on its way and the reason for being late was because of illness. I had no comments from the buyer and a few days later I find that he has recieved a refund. Ebay doesn't seem to give a S#!& about sellers.
