It hasn't happened to me as I don't sell on ebay any longer, but I have read about it happening to other people, in that they thought they were all signed up for managed payments but then hit glitches, for a variety of reasons.

Is it run by Indians? It's an American company, as far as I am aware, so the big bosses are probably over there, but the hired help is probably from all over. Often they are just following a script.

And a lot of things are automated.

I guess my only advice would be to make doubly sure everything is right with your account and with managed payments etc, jump through whatever hoops you need to, delay selling too much more till you have things sorted. Everything I have read suggests it can be next to impossible to get hold of your money till it is.
