AI is slop.
I see and hear it increasingly, and it instils an overwhelming sense of repulsion in me.
Save the Children has received its last donation from me. It’s not just the AI voice in its current TV ad, but that is a key reason. Fortunately a different charity is doing better work with significantly smaller % to admin overheads and no AI use that I can see.
Back to AI in eBay listings… When I see AI blurbs for CDs, it so grates on me that I put that listing into last place in the Excel file in my mind. Unless that listing were the only one in the world for that particular recording, no deal.
Books, ditto.
OP, like twyngwyn and davewil, I’m bemused at your wanting to use AI in listing motorcycle parts. Are you sure you need it?
I’d also say that styling the text elements is not as important (in my opinion) as giving helpful and concise information, as well as clear and apt photographs.
What happens if you don’t use AI? Have you tried that?
