vast majority of people buying on eBay use PP; you will find that you will be losing buyers if you do not offer it.  I personally could not be bothered with Paymate, and many people do not even check if you have PP as for many years you had to offer it.  So you will find that people will win and then realise you do not have PP and will  not pay; not many people will pay by DD for expensive items.
