Unless I hear otherwise, I assume all my buyers have received their purchases and are happy. Less and less buyers are leaving feedback and I am finding customers harder to contact via ebay messages because lots of buyers are just not online all the time. To be honest, I think the "please be a good ebayer and leave feedback for your seller" is an imposition enough, I dont want my sellers getting a "please let us know if you've received your item" email as well.
Most buyers just arent that invested in the purchase, they click buy, they pay, they get their item. That is enough for most people.
