If you go to the store called spare change they sell the all types of satchels bags padded bags and you can buy in bulk. This cuts the postage down and Aust post will give you a tracking no but you have to ask for it I do it Thats why My posyage is lower

If you google interparcel, they are a website which compares prices for courier services and then books the service for you. You can pay online with paypal if you like which I find more convenient and then you just have to package your parcel and print the shipping labels off. I have never had any problem with them and I have never paid more than it would cost me to send via Australia Post.

However all of my parcels are about 2kg or more so anything under 2kg may not be cheaper than prepaid parcel bags from Australia Post.

Straight bat -

Evidence of increase in eBay fees in the last 6 months?

Paypal fees in the last 6 years?

Domestic AP fees in the last 6 months?

Australia post increases the postage price not mainly bec of the weight but the bulkiness. Just recently delivered some figurines below 200g and got charged $8 because of it.

I see international sellers deliver for $1. There's been some new cheap asian services opened in south-east that does the same service but takes 3-4 weeks wait to be delivered.

You can hardly compare international post with Australia Post.

The $1 is no doubt from China and their government subsidises the postage.

So maybe they have done a service to any sellers who happen to read the thread?
