Why can't I find BROWSE to upload pictures with the "basic" photo upload.

I am asked to try the new standard upload, that has a Browse, and did. But it is

very hard to see what your loading and go back into files for each and every photo.

finally worked through this only to Loose every photo when I clicked on upload?

I Really Want to use the Basic feature for photo uploads as I have in the past....

there is NO Browse Button! What's Happeneing?
