They love stories like this and it's a great way for the culprit to be outed under the guise of 'investigation'

The media will provide the culprit opportunity to put their side.  In the process they and their ebay ID will be broadcast nation wide

Your hands will be sparkly clean

and it will put the wind up other low life scum who're doing or thinking of playing the same thieving game

Go on.  Ring the media.  The fact you have facts, figures, dates, receipts and others to back you is all in your favour
