My suggestion re bidding history was not intended as being a warning for other sellers so they could screen bidders, it was more as a minor deterrent to not paying i.e. bidders would know if they did not pay there would be a minor 'name-and-shame' aspect to not paying.



 


Your logic only works with people who would not be Non-Payers anyway.


 


If somebody couldn't care enough to pay for something that they ordered, what makes you think that they would care about being named and shamed?


 


That was why the old "Neg The Buyer" never worked as a deterrent. The buyers who did the wrong thing couldn't care less that they'd done the wrong thing - morals and reputation means absolutely nothing to that kind of person.
