I was informed just now this is a new change effective from August. The rep removed the reinstated neut and also the other one today but said going forward this is new policy - hence new feedback removal policy.
yeah well quote them this bit... and ask them how defamation works into their "timeframe"
.....a defamation feedback removal could be instituted years after the statement was made......
you send them the stat dec and they remove...pronto
..... If they don't remove after you affirm with a stat dec that you consider the statement defamatory they leave themselves liable to
defend the statement's veracity in court

Nor do we publish, endorse, approve or control content that may be posted on our site by eBay users, including but not limited to feedback, auction listings, postings on public comment boards and About Me pages.
If you feel that material has been posted on our site which defames you, as defined by New South Wales law, we will investigate the allegations and take appropriate action.
We have developed the following procedure for handling such claims.
First, you should consult a lawyer to confirm that the content you have identified is in fact defamatory.
According to New South Wales law, defamation is broadly defined as a publication communicated to someone, other than the
subject, which is liable to cause ordinary, reasonable persons to think less of the subject or shun or avoid the subject.
Defamatory publications will include aspersions upon an individual's reputation for honour, honesty and integrity as well as disparagement of an individual's reputation in trade, business, profession or office.
