I was just wondering, if people do want to open a new account, are they able to link it up to the same credit card or bank details or whatever?

I (obviously, I suppose) haven't tried to open any new accounts in many years but I do recall trying to a long while back and the system wouldn't let me because it was the same email address or credit card or something like that.
