aj if you mark items as posted, use click & send or manually enter a tracking number then ebay send an automated message to say the item has been posted and many of us do not want another email from the seller cluttering up our in box.
I would also be very careful of quoting AP's expected delivery dates, Stephen King writes more believable fiction lol.
If you are bothered about getting feedback then it is OK to send an email after about 3 weeks asking the buyer if they can confirm they have received their parcel so you can leave feedback and archive the transaction, this can often prompt them to leave feedback.
Other than that I would just take the view that no news is good news and don't worry, before you know it your feedback will be in treble figures.
