Why is it that when I go to my saved searches they always default to that meaningless 'Best Match' nonsense?

Thanks to this 'Best Match' debacle, buyers don't get to see which items are ending soonest, and miss bidding on them and generating INCOME FOR THE SELLERS AND EBAY ITSELF....

Also, why do my searches now include overseas items, when I specifically pre-selected to view AUSTRALIA ONLY?

Is eBay currently run by bonobos??
