I received a (completely unfair, I tell you) policy violation on one of my long-standing listings yesterday, and while it was for a different matter, and my approach was rather more focussed on trying to get eBay to see that their policy was applied to me incorrectly, but this is what talking to them about such matters is like (with apologies to those for whom this is a rehashing of a rant ranted elsewhere):
