Yes you need to prove postage - items are not being scanned in - at all, with click & send there is a history section - it has the item you have paid for & info which is suppose to be all Paypal need for proof - but if there is no tracking event i can not prove i actually sent the parcel - buyers are complaining as when they use the tracking - it just say Australia post has recieved information - they assume i have not sent it , Paypal do not require signature only proof that it is posted. even items i have paid for with signature on delivery are still not scanned in or still in transit ( luckily they have been recieved)

Hi yes , even with australia post - it is leave in a secure location ( but they are suppose to scan it in on delivery)- if the buyer request to have a signature on delivery then they have the option to pay a little extra, Same as a couriers

For the items that have not been scanned as collected , it's possible they went to PO's for collection if the buyer does not have a AP delivery to their address .
This is what happens to all of my mail and my PO rarely bothers to scan anything when I collect it .

Lodge items at the post office, but with registered post (& I mean registered post for large letters), U no longer get a lodgement receipt.
Just waiting to see if AP is going to do now - I heard Canada Post will not deliver the mail any more, their customers have to pick it up from a pick-up centre.

I am having the same problem. Not being scanned and one has not even arrived. I wonder if the PO can use Xray machines to tell what contents of the post pack are?

Question for darylsmith1967
Do contractors get paid the same if they card someone (when they are not home for delivery), vs if you actually deliverer a parcel?

Proxy answer from darylsmith.
It's 2 and a half years since I posted. I no longer give a rat's. Given your 'experience' I'm sure you can find the info from AP, rather a 2 and a half year old thread.
