There are some reasons which lead people to use IE over other browsers, which I can be sympathetic with, even if I know that other browsers can be far better 🙂
such as...it came with their PC, so they trust it more, in terms of not downloading third party software; they're not tech savvy, so it can be a bit confusing getting other things up and running; and so on.
I have done a fair bit of tech help in real life for software and hardware requirements, and it can be a difficult thing to encourage a new approach to software, without a bit of step-by-step guidance at times.
That's why I try to find fixes for any IE issues, 'cause I know that sometimes, it's all a person might be comfortable using.
