The fact the item is showing as in transit means nothing.

If the item was safe dropped and not scanned by a lazy delivery person it will be like some of my items that were safe dropped in June 2013 and are still showing as in transit.

 

If you put "donot safe drop" stickers on them it may be a different matter.

If you sent them with signature required it may be a different matter.

 

It takes 2.5 to three days for freight to travel from West to East so it may have fluked a good run and be there by now.

 

Not normal but sometimes it does happen.

 

I have sent items from Adelaide to Perth on thursday evenings and they have been delivered AM tuesday as they spent the weekend travelling.

Both me and the customer were a little surprised.
