I recently had a similar problem and they only refunded the postage cost They will not refund the cost of the contents of the parcel unless you've taken ou extrat insurance or registration even though the parcels have tracking numbers and it can be clearly seen that the parcel was lost by AP
In saying that though, I must admit that over the years, I've only had a couple go missing
