What I would give to be able to correct the spelling in these posts...

Quite often small private sellers prepackage their items before they have been sold which doesn't provide the option of combining post. I buy a lot of second hand items on eBay and have been caught a few times not checking with the seller if they combine. It's my mistake. THEY are well within THEIR rights not to combine or discount postage costs.
