" there are only nine colours - red, yellow, orange, green, blue, purple, white and black "
There it is in black and white everyone. Disregard the other colours.......

As colour is directly related to the frequency of its wavelength in the visible radiation spectrum, there are so many different colours (i.e. frequencies) that it would be virtually impossible to put a name to them all, as that number is essentially infinite.

Gotta love someone who brings a bit of lunacy back to earth with a few actual facts.:^O:^O

They all look blue to me
Yes, I have an opinion. No you don't have to agree with it. Yes I do have a right to it.

I have it on good authority (mine) that there are only nine colours - red, yellow, orange, green, blue, purple, white and black
Black and white aren't colours...except sometimes they are. :^O http://www.colormatters.com/color-and-design/are-black-and-white-colors
Did you know that the technique to make true black glass was lost many years ago, and now they just make it from dark purple? Tecnhically, I could have an INAD case opened against me for describing black (looking) glass beads as black. 😮

They are pretty much the same shade of blue, the slight difference is due to the components being made of different materials. This is normal and what everyone expects. You can't get exactly the same match. Have a look at all the gadgets and things around your house. Look at all the shades on white on your fridge etc. The buyer is a twit, who the heck would be so nit-picky about exactly the same colour, especially a boy? Boys/men don't even care about co-ordinating their clothing colours. What the other poster said about red is true. It is also true that black is not a colour. In the light spectrum, black is the absence of light. In pigments, it's what you get when all colours are combined.
