There are more sellers than buyers I THINK!
------------------------------------------
Wouldn't be surprised if there were
Hundreds/thousands/tens of thousands of items going through without a bid, which is no surprise either
It's similar to the supermarkets where the Specials disappear in hours while the standard-price items are moving very slowly
People are cutting lots of corners these days, across the board. If it's no bargain (taking into account the postage) then people aren't interested
Ebay's feeling the pinch too (all those CEOs and shareholders to feed) so it ignores sane business-practice and slogs the buyer (via the seller) again and again
That's fine, as long as buyers are willing to play along
Seems less and less buyers feel inclined to do so
Ebay and Aust. Post can only push up prices so long as the market will tolerate it
It's the market (the buyer) which rules the roost, not ebay, not Aust. Post
Will this latest greedy grab be the tipping point ? Time will tell
In the meantime, I find ebay greedier than tv and the net with all the very lucrative saturation advertising
