Might just keep my head below the parapet for a while lest it be blown clean off! All I ever wanted was a quiet life, I've never understood people who enjoy high drama. As Grandma Newman (no relation to Campbell) always said, " Do try to get along."

Maybe I'm just not meant for written communication - strains of Joe Cocker singing "Oh Lord, please don't let me be misunderstood". Love that man...

Sorry, where was I?..... Oh yes, I often find myself thinking that if I can't communicate effectively without the use of emoticons etc (NOT that there's anything wrong with that - a la Seinfeld), then maybe I should save my exchanges for face-to-face dealings only. At least then people could gaze upon my meek visage and toothy, ingratiating smile - just like the dog!
