You need to check Fastway's website before sending it off to see shipping times. If it lists as 3-7 days or something like that then Fastway is handing it over to another shipper, thus causing delays. Go to Australia Post or someone else if you need better options in that case.

Try Jedcart also, they are pretty good for small packages and are a reseller for fastway and TNT. TNT offers a one day shipping option also through Jedcart, which is very handy.
