We find that its not uncommon that we send out an invoice giving discount for the combined postage and then the buyer fails to pay against the invoice.
They ignore the invoice and go ahead and pay for each item in individual transactions. Doh! Sometimes you have to wonder!
Of course we are then slugged an extra 30-cents transaction fee for each of the extra transactions by PayPal. And then you pay ebay the FVF on the postage for each item too. So our postage component is quickly wittled away by fees.
However, we still combine and post the items out in a single package.
So if/when that happens we don't do any partial refund since the buyer has been too silly to accept our discount offer on the invoice in the first place.
