Little sealed packs would be practical and cute 🙂

Digi...agree with you on not all sweets are nice. Sticking to the popular stuff is a plus 🙂 rather than mystery errr edibles.

Shhh. Tis all about Crikey and the quest for perfect white tissue (no peanuts, no shreddings and no gummi nuffin)

The evening crowd scares me a little - I better go pack some parcels (sans gummi things)

Some people can go their whole lives and never really live for a single minute.

i don't do giftwrap.

But I always do weather wrap. i suppose it depends on the customer base. I like to think my customers appreciate getting their items without water damage. They seem to agree.

Some even appreciate my packaging, even when no tissue.

Forgotten already?

It is certainly a bonus, I agree too - I generally use satchels though, but with letters/large letters, I do as you taught me - glad wrapit - but then I don't usually gift wrap stuff that goes as letters - doesn't fit LOL

I bet they don't when you use packaging peanuts!

always find it strange that people use newspaper for chinaware when packaging for a house move. Far better to avoid the problem & just pack in white tissue.

I use the white butchers paper (same strength as newspaper probably) bought from stores that sell packaging materials.

I think bigger breakables like dinner sets need something more solid than tissue paper.

Professional packers use the butchers paper for breakables.

OK, I give up, what is wrong with packing peanuts? Some of them are made of puffed wheat, so you could put some milk on them and have them for breakfast! 😄

I'd much rather peanuts than the super el cheapo styrene that the Chinese use when packing delicate items. The last few shipments of mineral specimens saw me having to remove them from inside a garbage bag. Other wise it's like busting a bean bag open! 3 things the Chinese are obcessed with......very poor quality ploystyrene, toilet paper and sticky tape. Oh boy do they love the toilet paper and tape!!!
