I am not asking if anyone likes them - I am asking if anyone knows how to disable them. Thankyou.

Each to his own.  I find them totally annoying.  Is there an 'off' switch?

OK. When I read your question, I had a look in the settings.

under my settings, preferences, display

I have ticked display menus dynamically with mouse over, then save changes

my bubbles have now gone, on an iPad using Chrome.

no idea if that will work for anyone else...or why it should have worked...because to me it shouldn't, but changed it back and have bubbles again.

I have a sneaking suspicion, that is a bug and won't work for everyone

I am on a normal PC (laptop - windows)

The Lithium settings. Same row as your ID, next to sign out for the boards. Top left.

Me too!  I couldn't work out how to disable them.

Thanks - found it but it hasn't made any difference (mine was unticked anyway - I tried ticking and then unticking etc) 😞
