I know about guitar techs, and I know and then will take some of my more expensive guitars to be looked over, adjusted, done up etc. But I don't have my own person guitar tech.    I did get a response from ebay asking them about what is going on, they did say to try and sort it out, and If he does lodge a disputes you just have to give your side of the story etc. And then stated "You are not obliged to provide refund unless found after the dispute process to be necessary"   So we will wait and see what happens. As I've said I never had an issue with the guitar, he takes it home, 7:30 in the morning sends me a msg asking for a refund because it's "impossible" to keep in tune! I don't know what he's done to it, I could have accepted the refund/return and get it back and he's done something to it and I can't sell it.

I don't believe you should refund your buyer....however...

There is something strange about this.

You have gone to the effort to import a guitar, only play it for 5 minutes at time, to resell a couple of months later.

I don't think you would have sold it, if you knew who to take it to. 🙂
