These eBay 20% discounts from certain retailers are nothing but misleading and deceptive and should be investigated by the ACCC.
For example the 20% discount on the Dick Smith Store that ran from Sunday to Thursday. They edited many items Friday afternoon prior to the sale starting to add on ~20% and removed the ~20% the day after this sale ended (Friday).
For example look at the changes to this listing, I suspect they have something that updates postage information on a regular basis to attemp to concel the changes to price.

Revision history
Changed to $428 from $363.
| 15-Aug-14 | 04:09:55 AEST | Description |
(Price increased by around 20% - over their previous price and their website price).
and the next day after the sale ended dropped to $363.

(Price decreased by around 20% - matching their website)
If eBay are going to allow these retailers to pull these scams the ACCC should be looking at them as well, eBay is running the 20% discount and should be policing the retailers but I suspect that eBay are well aware that these retailers jack the price up.
