electronic delivery

Hi Guys

i am currently selling an item that is not a hardware item

it is a service that does not need postage as the service is done electronicly over the internet and emails

i once seen a service like this and the seller offered delivery electronicly

can someone please help me find this option?

Sellers may not list any item that is electronically delivered. Examples of items that sellers are not permitted to list on eBay:

  • An MP3 file
  • An eBook
  • Wallpaper for a computer
  • Recipes in electronic format

oh really?

so im not alowed to offer a service?

Unless a hard copy is also provided by mail. Electronic delivery is OK if you can also deliver via mail as well.

Yes that is what i am doing, I offer an online service with invoices via email.

so do i list the item with free delivery? as because all handing of this service is done via emails with my customers

Nothing digitally delivered that means email or over the internet.

I see you have already listed your service.

Now im a little confused

I offer a service like a tax agent or lawn mowing company, Customers pay me for the service and i supply that service.

Please look at my ad that i have listed

You can sell a tangible service on eBay.

The OPs service is a tangible service that is provided remotely.

Electronic delivery is another issue all together.

I am not sure of other policies that may impact on this type of service.

Sorry i think i should give more details

I supply a service for mobile phones

Although the customer can send me there phones for repair as i have done lots of in the past, I dont pysically need there device as all i require is screen shots sent to me via email.

This is far more cost effective and speedy then waiting for there phones to arrive via post.

Because i dont require postage this way i am wondering do i list this service as free postage or Electronic delivery?
