IMO Que Sera Sera.  I can't make head nor tales out of this system and since I have never seen any evidence that it makes any difference to search rankings whatsoever, I am over it.  For example, here is a snapshot of my curretn dashboard.Defects Sept.PNG

I shows 4 defects for low DSR Item not as described, 2 for Slow postage time, and 2 neg/neutral feedback.

The count has never changed since I returned to selling on Ebay mid-April.  The dashboard has always shown those numbers, what changes is the percentage; as the number of transactions goes up, the % goes down, I get that bit.  However, under the little green marker which shows me at the start of TRS standard, the total defects shows as 5 out of x total transactons.

So, assuming (silly I know, but you have to start somewhere) that the 2 slow postage are already represented in the 4 Item not described, and the same for the 2 neg/neutrals, where is the 5th defect?

And to complicate it further, when I drill down for a report, (and also hasn't changed since March) it shows only 3 defects, .  It shows one open case for Item not received, although the main screen has none (and that's what I would expect as the one and only INR I have ever received was closed the very same day after the buyer received it in the post). It also shows 2 defects for neg/neutral feedback (one neutral and my one and only EVER negative).

I'm left wondering, discounting the non-defect for INR, where do I find the details for the 3 missing defects?

I'm also wondering, why my projected performance level for the next rating review shows as Above Standard, even though my percentages show as TRS.  I know you require PS status to achieve TRS, but I passed the final requirement for PS at the end of August and that should mean that come the review on the 20th I will become a Bronze PS, so shouldn't the projected seller performance level be TRS?

See what I mean, if you worried about all this nonsense, you'd go spare in quick time, QUE SERA SERA!

Cheers,

Penny
