catch this from customer support:

Kyle Vincent So
Basically this error message will show up if the package details or the size indicated in the package details did not meet the requirements you used in the postage option.

??
Kyle Vincent So
Have you been using the "Standard delivery" option?
curraone
Yes
Kyle Vincent So
And when were you able to observe that this issue is coming up?
curraone
When the buyer contacted me and said she could not see postage - I checked the listing this morning - and it had this error
curraone
When I duplicate the listing by choosing "sell similar" I can see that I did in fact list it as Standard Delivery $2.10
Kyle Vincent So
It seems this is caused by the postage amount since the site does not offer any postage cost amounting to $2.10 only.
curraone
I'm sorry that is not a reasonable answer - if the item is a large letter, obviously the postage can be $1.40; $2.10; or $3.50
Kyle Vincent So
Sorry but the eBay site does not offer any letter postage options.
Kyle Vincent So
Basically the postage section will show the said error if there is something wrong with the postage option used and it did not meet its minimum requirement.
curraone
That's right, that's why we choose "Standard Delivery" with the option to put in your own postage
curraone
It is not calculated postage, it is flat rate postage
Kyle Vincent So
If you can check, you will not get the said error if you provide a postage cost of $7
Kyle Vincent So
The system or the eBay site do not have any records that can charge the postage for only $2.

For Crying Out Loud Smiley Mad What next????

Just had another buyer wanting to buy 2 items but apparently I don't post to Northern Territory!!

Starting to really pi** me off

just got off the customer support phone - apparently it is not really happening - my error was a "one-time corrupted listing"  - yeah right - and "no other sellers had reported a problem"

I had better report the non existing problem as well then.
I have a couple of emails from buyers I can show them, but they might not exist either.

good luck - I am feeling a bit battered - particularly after the first episode when CS told me I couldn't list postage at $2.10.

Might go back to bed.

I had a repeat customer contact me yesterday to say she was trying to reorder and the system was telling her she can't buy from me because I don't ship to her location.  I checked the listing and there was nothing wrong there that I could see, so I added her to my block exceptoin list and asked her to try again.  She managed to buy the second time, but it makes you wonder how many others might have got that message and just given up and gone elsewhere?

Cheers,

Penny

Thats what worries me too, being a buyer as well if something is "too hard" I just move on. Well I'll be complaining to ebay as well 😞

OMG-was that bloke serious curraone ???? Smiley SurprisedSmiley SurprisedSmiley Surprised

There is obviously something wrong and just because it isn't affecting every buyer and seller, ebay could care less ????

My sales are beyond slow.

Usually on a Monday morning I have 50-70 items to pack.

At this point I have 19, and 9 of those are from Friday evening.

I have sold 2 items in the last 12 hours

Something is not right!
