Unfortunately there is no other site that has as much traffic - and thus potential buyers - as ebay.

 

However, quicksales is looking to be the best alternative at the moment (unless it's for pickup items where gumtree may be the better bet). Trouble is, there is hardly any buyer traffic on QS. They really need to get their name out there and advertise.

I hadn't heard about them till i visited these boards, saw it mentioned and guessed what QS must stand for and went and had a look.

 

I now have a couple of items listed for sale with them & gumtree, but I am finding gumtree is having more clicks to view.

 

On the other hand, I have bought off both sites in the last week, with happy results. I figure if there isn't as much traffic, the sellers might be keener.Woman Happy

 

I suspect ebay wants small sellers to move over to QS and gumtree anyway and as a buyer, I am going the same way, not for everything, but for a fair bit.
