Not a master, but I do know that would not be a defect. Defects are all instigated by buyer actions (with the exception of cancellations, and possibly refunds), if ebay decided to take action against a false negative, it would result in a policy violation, but not a defect.

Perhaps dsr's for the retracting bidders, the serial neggers, snad's and inr's....................
I could only get away with that since I'm a buyer only atm.................
But thinking about it, if eBay doesn't look very carefully at their business model, I will not have too many sellers to buy from.
