I never said you had to explain, I was just hoping you would, particularly now that you've said you understand why people complain (sorry, thought you said whinge in your OP)....

Weird, if you do understand why they complain, I'm still at a loss as to the reason behind your post saying you don't get it.

I don't analyze every post I see, I didn't even analyze yours, however if you want to post an opinion on a public discussion forum, surely you're prepared to have that opinion discussed, and are prepared for people to post opposing opinions? I responded to your question with some of the reasons why people complain about the fees, but at the same time I took issue with the impression you gave that suggested people have no reason to complain. That's not for you to say because you're not them. 

You find eBay's fees reasonable in comparison to what you'd have to outlay for a B&M, that's fine, but it's a flawed comparison. One thing being cheaper than another thing doesn't mean the first thing is good value so there's nothing to complain about, if it was, McDonald's burgers would be just as good as some 5 star restaurant's gourmet burger.
